Wrenwood Farms Kicks Off \"Hunter Week\" at WEF Winning The Absorbine® Stall Safe® Tack Room Award
Wellington, FL- Thanks to an understated elegance that was both practical and welcoming, Wrenwood Farms won the Absorbine® Stall Safe® Award during \"Hunter Week\" of the FTI Winter Equestrian Festival. Located in Naples, Florida, Wrenwood Farms became the sixth farm to win the prestigious Stall Safe Award during the world-class show circuit.
Trainer Kelli MacDonald was pleased to accept the Stall Safe award filled with Absorbine products, and was quick to praise owner and hunter rider Jenny Sutton for her decorating taste. \"Jenny has excellent taste and decorating flair,\" MacDonald said. \"It\'s a really nice home away from home for us and a great place to relax between classes.\"
Sutton designed Wrenwood Farms\' stabling area, located in the permanent barns at WEF, with a hunt motif that included iron tables and benches accented with horse head designs. All of the fabrics, from the Persian rug to the pillows and table clothes, were in subtle fall colors of tan, olive greens and brown. The traditional hunt theme was carried over into the artwork and furniture.
The Stall Safe spotters, who each week honor a stabling area at WEF that is visually attractive, well thought out in design and safe for horses, were taken with Wrenwood Farms\' elegant stabling area. From the subtle hunt tweed-style stall curtains to the beautiful boxes filled with ficus hedges and colorful flowers that lined the tack room area to create a patio atmosphere, the stabling area was warm and inviting. Even the farm\'s oversized Golden Retriever named Icon complemented the barn\'s décor.
A gracious MacDonald accepted the Stall Safe prize basket, filled with a variety of Absorbine products including Absorbine Stall Safe, a product committed to the safety and comfort of horses and riders by helping to keep stalls and horse areas virus and bacteria free. A disinfectant and sanitizer for stalls, stables, trailers and utensils, Stall Safe can be used wherever a horse is likely to come in contact with harmful and life threatening bacteria and viruses. It is also safe for use in dog kennels.
Stall Safe has been shown to be effective in guarding against Equine Herpes Virus Type 1 and Equine Influenza A Virus. It is an easy-to-use alternative to commonly used chemicals such as bleach, ammonia, iodine, and pine cleaners.
The Stall Safe Award is given weekly by an Absorbine spotter who visits the stabling areas at WEF each week in search of award winning tack rooms that have found their inner equestrian interior decorator. For more information on Stall Safe, visit the Absorbine website at www.absorbine.com.
