The Kentucky Horse Park, the world’s only park dedicated to human’s relationship with the horse, opened to the public in 1978. The Horse Park is best known as the venue for large competitions and events such as the Kentucky Three-Day Event CCI4*, however the Park is also a working equine facility 365 days per year. The Horse Park boasts five barns: the Hall of Champions, the Breeds Barn, the Big Barn, the Mounted Police Barn, and the Kid’s Barn, which are home to 85 full time resident horses. Several museums can be found on the grounds, including the International Museum of the Horse, the American Saddlebred Museum, and the Al-Marah Arabian Horse Galleries, as well as memorials and statues for those champion horses now past. Here at Absorbine®, we are proud to be the fly control sponsor of the Kentucky Horse Park, supporting the Park in its commitment to provide high quality care to their horses.
