Behind The Scenes At Churchill Downs

After the news this morning of Uncle Mo being scratched from this weekend’s 137th Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs, race fans’ attention has been refocused on the remaining 19 entries.  Absorbine® was at the historic Churchill Downs track this week. Here are two of the contenders getting ready Thursday.

Nehro, owned by Zayat Stables and trained by Steve Asmussen, will be ridden by Corey Nakatani.  His odds at the time of this post are 6-1.

Soldat is owned by Harvey Clarke & Craig Robertson III, and is trained by Kiarin McLauphlin.  He will be ridden by Alan Garcia.  His odds at the time of this post are 12-1.
