Equine Management Training Center

The Equine Management Training Center (EMTC), housed at the Sandy River Equestrian Center, offers the prestigious Professional Groom Certificate Program: a comprehensive certification program sharing the knowledge and skills necessary to become a professional groom and manage all aspects of equestrian life. Six weeks of classroom and practical training and two weeks of an internship prepare participants for placement in top level grooming jobs. The EMTC program is dedicated to producing well rounded and well prepared grooms, focusing on both classroom instruction, such as biology of the horse, nutrition, and stable management, as well as practical instruction like basic vet care, clipping, and show turnout. At Absorbine®, we are happy to support the next generation of grooms by providing time trusted products for them to utilize during their education. We recognize the importance of providing a one of a kind training opportunity for those members of our industry who are the backbone supporting the equestrian sport.
