I will begin by saying that I have never had much faith in natural repellents. I was talking to a friend (who is also our vet tech) about how horrible the ticks were this year. She said that she used Ultra Shield Green for her horses and that she liked it. I didn't have anything to lose, so I bought a bottle. I have to say that it as been a God send! My poor guy had over 30 ticks on him before the end of May and has not had a single one since I started using this. I have told everyone about it. I love that I can use it on myself and dogs too. The flat sprayer is the ocing on the cake. It is great. Thank you !!
You ought to be ashamed of yourselves ripping people off!!! It doesn't repell flies for 2 minutes much less 8 hours. She is stomping, kicking, swishing her tail at and biting at flies the whole time I am riding her... and that is Right After soaking her legs in your so called "Fly Repellent"... and it all starts before I'm even done putting her saddle on.
It does smell good... I'll give it that.
Not as effective as Ultrashield EX, but good natural alternative for barns that have certain requirements.
Do not like to use chemicals so try to use natural products. Seems to work good for repelling mosquitoes, but not as well for biting horse flies. Although, I would say it works as good as the chemical sprays to repel flies.
