I think I’ve just found my go-to product to condition & soften my saddles, tack & other leather!
It works SO well!
Product seems ok, kind of greasy but could be normal. Only complaint is actuator to get product out of the bottle lacks instructions. I think there’s no pump, so just squeeze. I hope it works, otherwise just empty some out on a sponge and get to it!
You have it right, there is no sprayer on this product. You can push the top down like a shampoo bottle and it will come out slowly. Multiple thin, light layers is the best way to use Restorer & Conditioner. Apply, let it soak in, then see if the leather will accept more. Let us know if you have any more questions!
To be perfectly frank one was dismayed to find out that a major corporation had bought out this company. One has never before seen this happen without the new firm utterly eliminating any qualities that the original product possessed.
So far it looks and smells and feels the same as the original product. One has used it but cannot at this time attest to it's quality, and a proper review will have to wait until the long term effects have been observed. If your firm has not ruined this wonderful product one will be most grateful and thanks will be forthcoming.
We appreciate your sentiment around loosing quality of products after they change hands. Did you know that W.F. Young (makers of Absorbine and Leather Therapy) is a family-owned and operated company focused solely on animal care products? And as you suspect we did not change any Leather Therapy formulas or manufacturing processes after we acquired the line over a decade ago.
We found a beat up full leather recliner at our horse rescue thrift shop. The leather was mostly intact with just a little stitching needed on the foot rest, but it was a little dirty and VERY dehydrated. Two days and two coats of Restorer & Conditioner later and I have a quality living room chair that will be good for 30 years!
Works good. Cleaned saddle up real well.
