How to get the most out of Hooflex Magic Cushion

STEP 1

Clean the frog and sole of the hoof well so the Magic Cushion can adhere directly to the hoof. Be sure to wear disposable gloves when applying Magic Cushion.

STEP 2

Pack Magic Cushion by working it into sulci of the frog, then covering the frog and sole. Start with a golf ball sized amount, then add more if needed for large hooves.

STEP 3

After packing, lower shod hooves into saw dust or shavings to seal the Magic Cushion. Barefoot horses will need their hooves wrapped after application for best results.

Helps sore feet

My mare gets foot sore and becomes short strided even lame. When I pack her feet with Absorbine she's fine again. I'm so glad to have this product.

Works great - BUT BE CAREFUL!

This is the first time I have had this horrible of a reaction while using this product. At the time the hoof was wrapped there was not any of the product that leaked out from under the hoof, sometime during the 8 hours the hoof was wrapped the product leaked up the back of the hoof and literally glued itself to the horses fur. Three hours later, this is result of what happened. I will not be using this product again which is disappointing, but its not worth the aftermath if it leaks out from under the hoof.

A Barn Necessity

This product is definitely a barn necessity - especially a barn full of competition horses! My horses event so the footing isn’t always perfect and this is the absolute perfect product to pack their hooves with after a hard ride! It takes out any soreness in the hooves and keeps them sound and happy! I use this product one of two ways:

1. Pack the hooves and wrap

2. Pack the hooves and just put some shavings on the packing if they are staying in their stalls!

It’s amazing to have a product that stays in the hoof without a wrap and works just as well!! Less supplies and faster!

Highly recommend having magic cushion in your barn.

We don't need to pack hooves very often but when we do this is our go to product. Easy to apply and does the job.
