After grooming, hold can 8-10 inches away from horse and spray Showsheen on coat in a sweeping motion, then stroke hair flat with palm of hand or fine brush. Apply to mane and tail, allow to dry, then comb through. Avoid saddle and girth areas. Twist cap to lock. For best results, use Showsheen shampoo and rinse thoroughly. Remove excess water with sweat scraper. Apply ShowSheen to wet coat, mane and tail. For weekly touch-ups, brush animal thoroughly. Apply ShowSheen to the coat, mane and tail while dry. Allow mane and tail to dry before combing. Not necessary to rinse off after shows.

I’ve used Show Sheen on my horses’ manes and tails for years. It really helps make grooming easier.
First time I have tried the Absorbine Detangler. I like how it works, seems to stick to the tail really well and combs through nicely. I have used other products that I had a hard time working it in to the interior of the tail hair. This seems like it clings to the hair which makes it easier to work into the interior hairs.
