RELIEF FOR HORSES
Farriers reach for Magic Cushion® hoof packing because they know it works. You can reach for it, too. It's easy to apply in just three simple steps. Use it to protect hooves before a rocky trail ride, relieve sore hooves after a day of competing, or soothe thin soles. Original and Xtreme strengths both start reducing hoof heat within an hour* and are competition-safe.
How to apply Magic Cushion®
There are just three simple steps for using Magic Cushion on shod or bare hooves. It's easy enough for anyone to apply whenever needed. For long-term benefits, farriers may pack it under shoes and pads.
STEP 1: Pick
Clean the frog and sole of the hoof well so Magic Cushion can adhere directly to the hoof.
Pro tip: Apply petroleum jelly to the heel so product doesn't stick there.
STEP 2: Pack
Wear gloves to keep Magic Cushion from sticking to fingers. Work a golf ball-sized scoop into the grooves of the frog, then spread it across the frog and sole. Add more as needed for larger hooves.
STEP 3: Seal
For shod hooves, lower the packed hooves into saw dust or shavings. For barefoot hooves, cover the packed sole in paper or plastic, then apply self-adhering wrap over the entire sole and hoof.
