Can we find A Home For Every Horse? As we all know, there are many, many horses in the United States without homes– an estimated 170,000 in total. It’s a heartbreaking situation that doesn’t have an easy solution. Your local horse rescues are the ones out there making a difference, but just ask them: it’s an expensive, time-consuming venture, and definitely a labor of love.

The program is publicized online and in print throughout all of the Equine Network’s publications- American Cowboy, Dressage Today, EQUUS, Horse&Rider, Practical Horseman, Spin To Win Rodeo & The Trail Rider. Certified rescues can list their adoptable horses, as well as their organization, on Equine.com at no charge. People interested in adopting can now visit one central location to look through pictures of available rescue horses and find the one for them!
